I Believe in Dance.
If your looking to lose some weight, Dance. Dancing is good exercise. So dance if you don’t want to lift weights,
or run, or do those stretches that you can’t seem to get right. Dancing will also get you in shape if you want to play
a sport or if you do gymnastics. Dancing will help you with flexibility.
Dance is fun to both perform and to watch. Entertainment is big in this day and age. Dancing is entertainment for both
the performer and the watcher. People love watching strange dances. And if you get into the right mood, you’ll love
performing the strange dances. I love performing strange dances, because it sets me apart from modern dancers.
Dancing is an art form. Dance, like practical arts, comes in many styles. There is Jazz, Tap, and Ballet. There is also
classical, ballroom, and even what people call break dancing. There are many styles for everyone’s tastes. My personal
favorite is Jazz, because it gets me moving. Tap is nice as well, because of the sound the shoes make.
Dance is a fun way to express yourself. Are you happy? Well then jump around and shake your body, that is dancing. Are
you sad? Listen to techno and do the robot, it’s a slow dance and will match your mood. Are you angry? Listen to an
angry song and move fast and stiffly. You can dance in all moods, expect sick although some people can. Personally I can’t
dance if I’m sick. So next time you want to express yourself, dance.
You say you can’t dance? I say you can! Everyone can dance. It doesn’t have to be like your friend dances.
You aren’t your friend! You are yourself and you dance in your own unique way. Just dance, have fun with it. Don’t
listen to others when they say “you can’t dance” because you can, just not how they think you should. Everyone
can dance in their own way, find yours and dance.
